Ponderay Neighbor Day returns by popular demand on Sept. 19 at the Harbison Field behind the Hoot Owl.
Miah Kohal Band will be providing live music, while Sweet Lou’s hosts a beer garden. The event features a variety of food vendors, and lots of fun family activities, such as magic shows, a climbing wall, crafts, pony rides, a petting zoo and more.
The event is an opportunity to learn about city projects, such as the proposed railroad underpass to the Bay Trail and the Front Yard Project, a publicly driven restoration of a historic smelter site on the shoreline.
Sponsors of this year’s event include Ting, Mountain Metals, The Retreat at Bay Trail, Selle Valley Construction, HMH Engineering, In & Out Painting, Mountain West Bank, P1FCU, Ace Septic Tank Service, Pony Go Round, KPND Radio, Kootenai Ponderay Sewer District, Friends of the Pend d’Oreille Bay Trail and the City of Ponderay.
We want to extend a special thanks to Avista, a sponsor who generously donated power to the site for the live music, and several vendors. Please come join the fun from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19.
