Concept Plan Unveiling

Come celebrate with us at the Pend d’Oreille Bay Trail Concept Plan Unveiling, 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 23, at the Edgewater Motel Conference Room, near Pend d’Oreille Bay. Copies of the new Pend d’Oreille Bay Trail Concept Plan and Map will be available for review, as well as information on the Pend d’Oreille Bay Trail Corridor Brownfields Assessment.

We’ll have a slide show, refreshments and remarks from Ponderay Mayor Carol Kunzeman, an update from Idaho Department of Environmental Quality’s, and information from the Friends of the Pend d’Oreille Bay Trail and the National Park Service.

You can also get a sneak preview of the Concept Plan at the Ponderay Block Party, from 10 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at Ponderay City Hall, 288 Fourth St. Learn about what’s going on in Ponderay and enjoy a barbecue lunch, too!
